Landing in Paris with a group is a different problem
Landing at Roissy Charles de Gaulle with thirty, fifty or ninety people is not the same problem as landing alone. Taxis split your group across a dozen cars, the airport shuttle bus does not go to your hotel, and a train with luggage and a tired delegation is nobody’s idea of a good arrival.

Can I really be picked up at the airport and dropped at my hotel?
Yes — and it is the most common booking we handle.
Your driver parks in the airport coach area and meets your group inside the arrivals hall, at the exit of baggage reclaim, holding a board with your group’s name. You do not have to find anything, call anyone or negotiate at the kerb. Luggage goes in the hold, the group boards once, and the vehicle leaves when your group is complete.

Will the driver speak English?
Yes. Every driver we assign to an international group is English-speaking. This is not an option to request and pay for — it is how we allocate drivers for airport work.
It matters more than it sounds. Your driver is the person who tells you where the coach will be parked at your hotel, what time you need to leave tomorrow morning to make a 10 a.m. slot at the château, and where the group can safely wait if it rains. A group that cannot talk to its driver loses that, and usually loses time too.
If your group is Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese or Chinese-speaking, tell us when you request the quote. We cannot promise a driver in every language on every date, but we will tell you honestly, before you book, whether we can secure one for your dates.
Our fleet for airport transfers
Four vehicle families cover almost every airport group. All are air-conditioned, regularly maintained and hold a luggage compartment sized for airport work.
- Minibus — 8 to 15 seats. Small delegations, crews, family groups. Manoeuvrable in central Paris.
- Midibus — 16 to 29 seats. Seminars, school groups, mid-sized delegations.
- Coach — 30 to 93 seats. Large groups: conferences, tours, school trips. Toilets, WiFi and full luggage capacity.
- VIP Coach — 20 to 40 seats. Leather seats, individual screens, optional on-board bar. Corporate and prestige events.
Beyond 93 passengers, we run convoys of several vehicles arriving together, up to 1,000 passengers. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles (20 to 50 seats) are available on request and must be booked in advance.

Why booking through us costs less than booking the operator directly
We are a broker, not an operator. The rates we negotiate across our partner network run 15 to 20 % below the published direct price, because our partners fill return legs and idle days through us. You get the same vehicle and the same driver, at a rate a single group could not negotiate alone.
What changes the price: distance, duration, how long the vehicle stays with you, night and Sunday work, and how far in advance you book. Airport transfers in the first week of September and during the big Paris trade fairs are the hardest dates to secure — book those early.
How do I pay from abroad?
This is the question we are asked most by groups outside France, and the answer is simple.
- Bank transfer (SEPA or international). Our invoice carries the full IBAN and BIC. This is the usual route for companies and universities.
- Purchase order. Accepted from companies, universities and public authorities. We invoice after the trip against your PO number.
- Credit card.
- PayPal.
- Payment in instalments, subject to conditions.
You are invoiced by DTRAVEL SASU, a French company (SIREN 838 863 744, VAT number FR61 838 863 744). Your finance department gets a compliant French invoice with the VAT number on it — which is what they will ask you for.
The rules your driver has to follow — and why they affect your itinerary
Groups arriving from outside Europe are often surprised by this, and it is better to know before you build the programme than on the day.
European law caps how long a professional coach driver may work. Under EU Regulation (EC) No 561/2006, a driver may drive 9 hours a day (10 hours twice a week), must take a 45-minute break after 4 h 30 of driving, and must have a daily rest of 11 hours (reducible to 9 hours three times a week) before driving again. A tachograph records all of it. These are not our rules and no operator can waive them.
- A late-night arrival at CDG followed by a 7 a.m. departure the next morning usually needs two drivers, or a later start. We will tell you which when we quote.
- A long transfer — CDG to the Alps, to Normandy, to the Loire — includes the legally required breaks in its timing. A quote that ignores them is a quote you cannot actually run.
- For multi-day tours we build the driver’s rest into the programme from the start, rather than discovering it on day three.
We would rather tell you at the quote stage that your programme needs a second driver than have your group stranded at a service station. That is part of what you are paying a broker for.
